RONALD GLENN KEISER FOUND GUILTY IN U.S. FEDERAL COURT
Bill Mercer, United States Attorney for the District of Montana, announced today that on May 8, 2007, in Great Falls, after a 2-day federal district court trial before U.S. District Judge Sam E. Haddon, RONALD GLENN KEISER, a 47-year-old resident of Wolf Point, was found guilty of sexual abuse, sexual abuse of a minor, and abusive sexual contact. Sentencing is set for August 27, 2007. KEISER is currently detained.
KEISER faces possible penalties of 20 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and 3 years supervised release.
Assistant U.S. Attorneys Richard A. Hosley and Joseph E. Thaggard prosecuted the case for the United States.
The investigation was a cooperative effort between the Fort Peck Tribes Criminal Investigation Division and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
