MOUNTAIN HOME WOMAN SENTENCED FOR EMBEZZLEMENT

 

Tammy Lyn Law, 34, of Mountain Home, was sentenced in federal court to serve 46 months in federal prison for embezzlement from a credit union. Law admitted to embezzling over $420,000 from Pioneer Federal Credit Union in Mountain Home. Law managed the collections department of the credit union between 2002 and 2008.

Law was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Edward J. Lodge to the 46-month term of incarceration followed by three years of supervised release. Law was ordered to pay $564,215 in restitution to the credit union.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Mountain Home Police Department.
