In the fall of 2003, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Office of Law Enforcement Services, recovered a skull and femur in an area several miles west of Lame Deer, Montana, on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation. The skull was forwarded to the FBI Laboratory, Washington, D.C., and a facial reconstruction was completed. The depiction below show a young adult Indian male as he may have appeared in life.
