FBI Salt Lake Assists FBI Las Vegas in Ricin Investigation Special Agent in Charge Timothy J. Fuhrman of the Salt Lake City, Utah Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation announces the following in response to media inquiries: The FBI’s Salt Lake City Field office is working in conjunction with numerous law enforcement and public safety partners to include the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office, the West Jordan Police Department, the Utah Department of Public Safety, the Unified Fire Authority and the Salt Lake Valley Health Department on investigative leads as a result of information provided by the Las Vegas office of the FBI and the Las Vegas Metro Police Department. At this time, there is no indication of any threat to the public or individuals residing in the area. As this is an ongoing investigation, no further information will be released at this time. As the situation warrants, you will be advised of any further developments.
