Searches Related to Ricin Investigation Concluded
Special Agent in Charge, Timothy J. Fuhrman, of the Salt Lake City, Utah Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, announced that:
The numerous agencies have now concluded the searches of four locations based on the federally authorized search warrant initiated early this morning. As the searches conclude, the FBI and its public safety and law enforcement partners re-emphasize that the surrounding areas in all four locations searched pose no threat to public safety.
The FBI would like to thank all of the participating agencies for the professionalism and competence displayed today. The FBI would also like to thank the members of the media for its cooperation throughout this complex operation.
As this is an ongoing investigation, there will be no further comment regarding the outcome of these searches.
