Special Agent In Charge, Timothy J. Fuhrman, of the Salt Lake City, Utah Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, requests the assistance of the public in the following matter:

On January 15, 2008, at approximately 5:45 p.m., an unidentified white male entered the Smith’s Food and Drug at 240 West State Road , American Fork, Utah . The subject approached the bank teller at the Zion’s Bank located inside Smith’s stating he had gun and demanded money from the victim teller. After receiving the money from the teller, the subject fled the Smith’s on foot.

The Subject is described as a white male appeared to be 6’3” tall, in his mid 40's with short black/brown hair. He wore a moustache and appeared to have weathered skin

  The subject wore a unique black leather jacket which appeared to have square stitching down both sides of the zipper in approximately a six inch width from the zipper. 

The FBI is actively investigating this matter in conjunction with the American Fork Police Department. The FBI and its law enforcement partners request the assistance of the public to provide the identity and whereabouts of the subject involved.

Because of the nature of the offense, the public is strongly cautioned against attempting to contact or detain this individual.
